Timantti was operated yesterday evening and we got 10 beautiful babies, representing all colous! The most interesting part is that there is only one boy, a crown prince. Nine awesome princesses, so cool!

Great news today!

Got some great news today, Spot is going to be a father and there will be a lot of puppies :) Timantti was today in ultrasound and they believe, that thee will be over 10 wonderful puppies :)))

We did it!

We struggled our way through novice class in obedience. Today was the last competition and it went well, got our third 1 prize. So... open class... here we come!

First obedience competition in Keila

Today we had our first official obedience competition and we got first prize, 169 points out of 200. The judge was Anu Oksa. In the beginners class we were third and got a medal :)

The grading is this (sorry if I couldn't find the right words): Behaving 9,5 * 1 = 9,5 (luoksepäästävyys) Staying down 8,5 * 3 = 25,5 (paikallamakuu) Heelwork (with leash) 9 * 2 = 18 (seuraaminen remmissä) Heelwork (without leash) 8 * 4 = 32 (seuraaminen ilman remmiä) Going down 8,5 * 2 = 17 (maahanmeno) Recall 8,5 * 3 = 25,5 (luoksetulo) Standing 7 * 2 = 14 (seisominen) Jumping 9 * 2 = 18 (hyppy) General impression 9,5 * 1 = 9,5 (yleisvaikutelma) Total 169 points :)

Tunnel competition 10 june 2012

Spot was again in a tunnel competition, the first round went pretty well, only once he flew beside the tunnel and got minus 5 points for that. The second round was even harder and just a few dogs got it, so many of them were disgualified :(. Spot got - 10 points, two times he didn't got streight to the tunnel but.... we were very happy, because he did much better than we thought. The round was hard and long, 17 tunnels and Spot did it! Because of the hard round we vere ultimately surprised when they announced that Spot got third place in big dogs! GOOD BOY! We have it all!

Have been travelling.... from Estonia to Latvia and Lithuania, through Poland, Slovakia and Hungary, then Croatia and Bosnia-Hertzegovina and finally reached Montenegro. There was this special dog show Adriatic Cup. On the first day we got two CACs and reserve-CACIB from Montenegro. On the second day two CACs from both Macedonia and Moldova and on the third day two CACs from Azerbaidzan and Cyprus. So... Spot got the champion titles from Montenegro, Moldova, Macedonia, Azerbaidzan and Cyprus and to our surprise also the champion titles of Balkan and Mediterranean. COOL!!!

Spot tunnel competition 1.4.2012

Today we had our first start in tunnels competition. Hope to get a video from it, but I did quite good. The first run was like two times I were in such a hurry that got 10 minus points because I missed the tunnel. In second run I did the same thing and then got one tunnel from wrong direction... disqualified :( Well, thing like that happen. Tiina and Mom were still satisfied because after three tunnels I concentrated and got the rest of the tunnels clearly... and they were harder that the first tunnels :)

Rakvere 31.3.2012

Yesterday at Rakvere dog show I did good... I was offered a CAC, but I couldn't get it.
I behaved nicely and Pinja was so proud of me. We also got a third place in her Junior Handler.

I was first time in intermediate class and I got exellent. I was also best male 2 :)

The judge was one mean old lady from Latvia... she didn't allow the dogs to run properly and she was very angry all the time.
Have to remember that, her name is Rita Kadike-Skadina :)

Here is what she said about me:
Nice, good condition, correct propotions, needs better muzzles, correct topline, needs better angulation in front, movement ok.

A little report what has happened...

Been a lazy one again, but here is something what has happened during this week.
On last friday (16.3.2012) we had an interesting lecture/training in obedience. Natalja has invited a famous trainer from Russia, Varvara Bolshakova, who has been competing in obedience and agility (I think) in world championship several times. Got some good tips and starting to practice target (in healing). That will be interesting!

On sunday, when Mom came home in the evening... Lotte has been in Pinjas room and she had eated chocolate... a lot of it! She had thrown up. It didn't went good, because on monday they had to go to the vet.... Lotte was in very bad shape... she had a poisoning of chocolate. Her couldnt stand or walk anymore and she was very weak. They got her IV and several shots of some kind of medicine. When they got home Lotte was at sleep, she was so tired that she didn't care about anything, even the thing in her paw... but she wasn't throwing up anymore. Second day they also had to go to the vet again, to get another IV. The third day was better and obviously it seems, that Lotte got over it :). But I think.... if we have chocolate somewhere... she will eat it again :(. Sad thing and our folks learned that chocolate is really a bad thing to a dog!!!

Today, that is on saturday, Tiina risked and took Spot to a agility tunnel training, where there is 13-14 tunnels. She thought that Spot wouldn't consentrate, but he did and it went pretty well. Actually... it went so well that Spot will take part to a tunnel competition, which will be on the next sunday. That will be fun!

Kennel cough

Last night was horrible, we didn't manage to sleep, because poor Spot was coughing and puking whole night long :(.
In the morning we called "Loomade Kiirabi" and got at 9 o'clock there.
Spot is having quite high fever....39,6 and we got antibiotics (Synolux 500 mg, 1/2 tbl 2 times a day, 8 pills) and some other medicine (Atussin syrup, 2 ml 2-3 times a day) to weaken the dry cough.
Hope the this will help Spot soon!

Been a lazy one to write here :(

Ok, Spot is now 1,5 years old (and a week more).

Spot went to Carita on the 16th of January. Nada was coming there too... but our plans didn't succeed.... she was so stressed about the long way that she ended her heat. So nothing happened :(.

Then Mama was away for two weeks, because she went to see her other daughter and her grandson who are nowerdays living in Bali, Indonesia! That was a long way to go for a visit, but they had so much fun!

Last sunday I came home. We had our first agility training on wednesday, but it didn't went so well. Someone had been in our training place with a heated bitch..... and as you can understand.... Spot was glued to the floor.
Yesterday we had our obedience and that went really well!
After our training when we got home Spot started to cough. And he coughed all night long. Unfortunately he has been infected and has a kennel cough. Bye bye trainings for a few weeks!
Today he was coughing really bad, puking up slime Poor boy!

We were on our near forest and took some new pictures about Spot. He is matured a lot, or what do you think?

At last we have snow!

Hey there!
Gotta tell you something, at last we have snow! It was snowing almost 20 cms in a day!!! Amazing! It was so fun to run again in the snow, run and jump. We had a busy day again. In the morning a rescue training and it went pretty well. I was searching a totally new person. At first, I found her quickly, but the second place was some kind of tuffer, but I didn't quit, just keep on searching and finally found her. Natalja was very satisfied with me because I didn't quit and I didn't came to Mom for a little help. I found her without help :). It was so beautiful in the forest with all that new snow. So beautiful!!! It was like to be in a fairytail, so silent and amazing! Gonna put here also a group photo of our rescue group (Mom looks like a ball, so fat). Then we had a few hours break and after that, we headed to agility training. I think that also went quite well. The slalom was so narrow but I made it! Today I also heard that Nada has started her heat. Interesting times we will have, because I will tell you a secret.... I am gonna be a daddy, do you believe it!
